The location was quiet, close to major attractions and the bustle of the city, with easy access to a main street and a national park. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, offering great guidance. The breakfast was delicious and included local tea and eggs to kickstart the day. During the safari arranged by the hotel, the driver ended the tour early, cutting the experience short. some communication issues with the driver caused confusion and frustration.

The New Peacock Resort in Dambulla is a hidden gem. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Eshan, the host, goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. He even helped us navigate the city and provided valuable tips for exploring. Shante, the tuk tuk driver recommended by Eshan, was also amazing. He took us to Sigiriya and the golden temple, and his English skills were excellent. the guesthouse provides a beautiful, comfortable stay and exceptional hospitality.

The location was peaceful and quiet, yet still convenient for meals and errands. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a generous plate of fresh fruit. The staff, especially Mr. Silva, were friendly and accommodating. They even organized a tour to a lesser-known spot, Pindurangula Rock, which offered breathtaking views of Sigirya. Despite a minor tuktuk incident, the overall value for money was exceptional. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Dambulla.
